This song works particularly well with beginning bell players. The dotted half note/quarter note motive that occurs throughout this piece is an excellent introduction to dotted rhythms. At almost 2 minutes in length, and using 16 bells from a standard two octave set, this is a wonderful concert piece for a beginning group. There are no special techniques used, so the song is suitable for handbells, hand chimes and tonechimes.
