The Prelude in C Minor is my personal homage to Johann Sebastian Bach’s iconic Prelude in C Major. This piece was born from my curiosity about how the character of Bach’s work would transform if its chords and cadences were reimagined in the minor mode, while preserving the original’s flowing meter and rhythmic structure.
The result is a relaxed, improvisatory piece that retains the spirit of Bach’s prelude but explores an alternative emotional space. It offers a reflective counterpoint to the original, inviting listeners to experience its timeless harmony through a more introspective lens.
