Early Intermediate level arrangement of 2014 Ariana Grande release. Syncopation smoothed out for easier reading; once notes are learned, encourage player to use their ear to "fix" the rhythms to match the artist's recording. Off-beat melody entrances are preceeded by LH playing on the beat to maintain sense of rhythmic pulse.
RH melody is built on 1st inversion G chord and will have fingers 1-2 opening to reach interval of 3rd throughout. Some finger 2 crossover thumb and substitution on repeated notes to cover the melody. LH plays in C & G position with direct moves during a rest.
