This arrangement starts off simply in unison (or with a soloist), building to progressively more complex verses. It includes a counterpoint melody section, and some unique lyrics adapted from the even older Scottish ballad, The Elfin Knight.
This work was originally commissioned by Headliners Chorus from Ballina, NSW, Australia. It was the favourite song of one of their fans, Vietnam War veteran Trevor Bence. When he passed away, Trevor left a bequest in his will for this song to be arranged for Headliners Chorus, and in his memory his name, forces number and date of birth and death are included on the first page of the sheet music.
Each copy entitles you to make one (1) print.
