Everybody knows the Pink Panther theme by Henry Mancini. For the intermediate student it will be a popular choice for his/her next concert or recital. The L.H. plays the well known pattern in fifths, with an added quasi stride technique to provide a rhythmic feel for the melody in the R.H. In the second half the L.H. goes into a walking bassline. The written improvised section can be replaced with an improvised solo by the advanced student. .
